The 6th UN Global Road Safety Week demands “Streets for Life”!

Today is the start for the  6th UN Global Road Safety Week calling on policymakers to act for low speed streets worldwide, limiting speeds to 30 km/h (20 mph) where people walk, live and play.

Walk21 is one of the signatories of the Open Letter “Streets for Life: For People and Planet.”  demanding a speed reduction to 30km/h (20 mph) as a means to create Streets for Life!

You can also get involved in the #Love30 campaign to call for 30 km/h speed limits to be the norm for cities, towns and villages worldwide.
