Discussing Africa’s COVID–19 response

On 27 October Walk21 Founder Jim Walker will participate in this year’s Volvo Research Forum (VREF) on the Future of Urban Transport. The Forum will be held virtually during the Mobilize Summit 2020 and offer a range of hosted conversations, where 10-12 people from the VREF community share insights, experiences and perspectives on a topic of mutual interest.

Co-hosted with Carly Gilbert-Patrick, Global Programme Manager of UN Environment’s Share the Road Programme, Jim will share the results of this research and explore what the COVID-19 mobility response tells us about what needs to happen next for pedestrians and cyclists in African cities.
